Do you provide raw photos or videos?

Under no circumstances will I provide RAW file formats. The only unedited photos you receive should be the unedited proofs you choose from, which are not to be downloaded or uploaded anywhere.

  • We start out with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed upon price prior to the shoot if you are paying via Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal. If paying cash please bring the full amount on the date of the shoot and provide 50% of the agreed upon price prior to the start of the shoot. By the end, please provide the other 50% whether paying digitally or via cash.

    • Alternatively, if you would rather work out a separate payment plan, we can discuss this in your consultation.

  • A contract will be provided within 48 hours before the shoot, you must sign this before any photos will take place. Failure to sign this will terminate the appointment and your deposit will not be refunded. You may reschedule but the document will need to be signed before any photos will be taken.

  • Once photos are taken I will provide unedited proofs with large watermarks for you to choose between, they will be numbered and you’ll just provide the numbers of the photos you like. If it is more than the initial agreed upon amount, additional charges will be discussed with you and the contract will be revised.

  • Once photos are chosen, any images provided in the unedited proofs will be accessible at the link provided for 30 days, all other photos from the shoot will be deleted immediately if not chosen for use by the photographer or client.

    • NOT ALL SHOOT PHOTOS WILL BE PROVIDED. Instead the photographer will choose to provide unedited proofs that meet the standard of the photographer’s work.

  • Photos will be edited according to the client’s wishes and to the extent of the level of editing provided.

  • Edited proofs will be provided with large watermarks and a lower quality than finals, any revisions should be requested at this point. If the agreed upon revision amount was one per photo any of the photos may be adjusted according to the client’s wishes. If the phots still need editing there will be an additional editing charge for additional revisions past this.

  • The client will need to send an email stating “approved” to the photographer. After that, the photographer will provide photos typically within 24 hours of the approval unless stated otherwise.

  • Final photos will be provided on a cloud-based link the client would have been utilizing for proofs and the contract (either OneDrive or Google Drive). High quality JPEG images will be provided under this link. If we discussed a discount for using images with a corner watermark a small watermark will be located in the right corner of the image.

  • From here, the client has 30 days at the time of the link being delivered via email to download these photos in their preferred method.

  • 30 days after the Final photos are delivered, the final photos will be moved to an external hard drive and the drive link will become inactive. If these photos need to be retrieved re-uploaded to a cloud-based drive there will be retrieval fee of $4.00 per photo.

  • Final documents will be kept on an external hard drive for a total of two years from the date of the final photo delivery. At the two year mark, these photos may be deleted.

How does your process work?

what can I use these photos for?

The copyright holder, being the photographer, still owns the images. You are granted a Use License that will be stated in your contract.

In short: it depends.

If you need them right away or within 72 hours of the shoot, an additional charge may be discussed depending on the size of the work.

If my schedule is light and the project is around 15 photos, I may get these to you in under 72 hours without extra charge. We can discuss turnaround time during your consultation!
